Residents safe after explosion, fire in Parkland house

Sleeping residents escaped a fire following an explosion early this morning at a home in Parkland, according to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.

No one was injured and firefighters had the blaze under control in 25 minutes.

The fire marshal is investigating the scene.
