Human remains found in Lake Stevens

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of human remains in Lake Stevens over the weekend.

Deputies were called to the 12000 block of 7th Place Southeast around 1 p.m. on Sunday after a homeowner reported finding the remains on their property, said sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Scott Parker.

Parker said in a news release that little is known about the remains, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is working on the case.
