Man accused of stabbing grandparents at Mill Creek home

A man who allegedly stabbed his grandparents in Mill Creek has been tracked down by police dogs and arrested, according to a news release.

Mill Creek police responded to a 911 call from a man at about midnight on Thursday saying he had been stabbed by his grandson.

When medics and police arrived at the scene, they found the 83-year-old man with multiple wounds and an 83-year-old deceased woman. The man was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition, according to police.

The suspect had left the scene. Police searched for about three hours with K-9 teams before the 22-year-old man was found and taken into custody about 3 a.m. Friday.
