Federal Way police have identified the 19-year-old man killed Thursday night as Erik Raul Reynaga.
Reynaga’s body was found next to a car in the parking lot of the Crystal Point Apartments, 35328 25th St. S.W., said police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock.
Reynaga was temporarily staying at the apartment complex, Schrock said.
Investigators believe the man was killed during a fight, Schrock said. No arrests have been made in the slaying.

UPDATE 8:23 A.M.: Federal Way police say they are looking for a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man at an apartment complex Thursday night.
Police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said in an email that police were called to the Crystal Pointe apartments, 35328 25th St. S.W., just after 8 p.m. after several 911 callers reported gunfire. Officers found a man, believed to be 19, dead next to a car in the parking lot.
Schrock said she’ll release updated information Friday afternoon.
ORIGINAL POST: Police are investigating at a Federal Way apartment building where a young man was shot and killed Thursday night.
The shooting occurred at an apartment complex on 25th Avenue Southwest at approximately 8:15 p.m., said Cathy Schrock of the Federal Way Police Department.
Police found the victim in the parking lot of the Crystal Pointe apartments, according to reports from KIRO-TV.
The male victim was described as 16 to 20 years old, and police have not confirmed his identity. Witnesses said the shooting followed a dispute, according to police.
It’s not known if the victim lived at the apartment building. Police have no information on the suspect at this time, Schrock said.
