Man shot last week at Everett apartment dies

The man shot at an Everett apartment complex Wednesday afternoon died Friday from his injuries, police said.

The victim has not been identified, according to the Everett Police Department.

He provided little information immediately after the shooting, so no suspect information has been developed.

Officers responded to reports of an assault and a gunshot at the Candlewood Apartments, 1022 W. Casino Road, about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. The wounded man was taken to a hospital by the Everett Fire Department.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine cause and manner of death, the Police Department said.
