McCleary man’s body recovered from Willapa River

SEATTLE — Kayakers found the body of a man in the Willapa River near Raymond.

The Pacific County sheriff’s office says it recovered the body Monday of Ross A. Baun.

The 31-year-old McCleary man was last seen Jan. 5 sitting next to a tree on the edge of the river about a half-mile upstream.

KXRO reports he leaves a 5-year-old son.
