Overnight lane closures on Aurora Avenue near South Lake Union

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 20., overnight lane closures along Aurora Avenue North may cause traffic delays near South Lake Union, the Washington State Department of Transportation said this week.

Construction crews are expected to close some lanes on Aurora between Valley and Halladay streets — while they conduct utility work on the roadway. The work will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., for three nights. Up to two lanes of Aurora northbound and southbound lanes may be closed at times during the work.

All lanes are expected to reopen by Friday at 6 a.m.
