Witnesses told officers they saw three people arguing shortly before 2 a.m. and heard a couple of gunshots. The man who was shot flagged a cab and fled the area.
Officers who responded to the area found a trail of blood that stopped in the middle of the street.
Moments later, police saw the cab driving erratically through downtown and stopped the driver. Medics rushed the man who had been shot to Harborview Medical Center, where he was treated for two gunshot wounds.
