Readers get creative with Paper Hawks photo submissions
Seahawks fans are building their Paper Hawks and sharing their creations with us. So far we have received about 150 submissions to our reader photo gallery.
We’ve chosen a few of our favorites here. So far we’ve released Russell Wilson and Earl Thomas III Paper Hawks. Coming in Friday’s Seattle Times: the dreadlocked one himself, Richard Sherman. Why not round up the three of them and send us a new photo?
Super Seahawk Man to the rescue
From Kyrstin Szewczyk: I made the paper hawk while watching the UW bowl game (there were surprisingly no jokes about a girl playing with a doll during a football game). Then my little brother, still on break from college, dressed up and I created a comic book story, introducing for the first time Super Seahawk Man along with our well known hero, Russel Wilson.
Put on that Earl Thomas game face
Whoa. Seahawks, and especially Earl Thomas, inspire intensity! Submitted by Owen Slind of Seattle.
Russell Wilson’s new pal?
Submitted by Tori Wolsborn of Entiat, Wash. Tori is 10 years old and has become an avid Seahawks fan. She may not know much about the game but understands how loyal the fans are and how to dress the part.
