Renton police seek public’s help in identifying pedestrian victim

An approximately 6-foot-tall black male in his 40s was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after being hit early Sunday morning by a car at Northeast Sunset Boulevard and Duvall Avenue Northeast, Renton police said.

Just before 6:22 a.m., a vehicle traveling eastbound on Sunset turned north onto Duvall and hit the man, police said. It doesn’t appear that drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the accident, and the driver is cooperating, police said.

Renton police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the pedestrian. If you have any information on this collision or know his identity,  call 425-430-7500 and reference case number 15-699.
