A student at Seattle’s Interagency Academy was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he brought a gun to school, police said.
Police received a report from the school at 3528 S. Ferdinand St. just before 1 p.m. indicating a student was carrying a firearm through a campus hallway, police said. The school was placed in lockdown and police responded.
The student, who is in his late teens, fled the building and was arrested by officers, police said. Officers recovered a firearm.
