Victims identified in fatal Highway 9 crash near Lake Stevens

State troopers have identified two people who died in a head-on Highway 9 crash Friday afternoon as Adam Huzar, age 42, and Agnieska Huzar, age 38 of Marysville.

They were heading south in a sedan, about one mile north of the 84th Street Northeast crossing, when a northbound SUV driven by Calvin Marlor, 62, hit a guardrail and careened acrosss the centerline, hitting the Huzars’ car. Marlor and passenger Billie Marlor, 61, were taken by aid car to Providence Hospital in Everett.

Deputies said in an update Saturday that the cause remains under investigation. Earlier, Trooper Mark Francis told the Everett Herald a medical problem may have been involved.
