The Associated Press

YAKIMA — Washington State Patrol troopers are stunned by the sudden death of Trooper Clayton J. Gocha in Yakima.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports he worked Friday but grew sick over the weekend and went to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital where he died Monday of complications from pneumonia.
