Man stabbed in leg downtown Tuesday morning
UPDATED, 9:40 a.m. | Police responded to reports of a stabbing a little after 7 a.m. Tuesday in downtown Seattle at Fifth Avenue and University Street.
The adult male victim was stabbed in the leg and the incident was reported by passers-by, according to Sgt. Sean Whitcomb of the Seattle Police Department.
A trail of blood indicates the incident occurred closer to Fourth Avenue and Pine Street, Whitcomb said.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene and police do not have a description, Whitcomb said.
