TACOMA — Police in Tacoma say they have recovered a body from a ravine and are investigating the death.
The News Tribune reports that police spokeswoman Loretta Cool says a report about a possible body sighting came in Sunday afternoon. Officers secured the area overnight and recovered the body Monday.
The Pierce County medical examiner’s office will determine a cause of death.
Cool says the person has been identified, but the name was not released pending notification of relatives.
