Teens pistol-whip, rob man in North First Hill

Four boys and a girl were arrested Tuesday night after they pistol-whipped, punched and robbed a man in the North First Hill neighborhood, Seattle police said.

The victim, 25, and two women were smoking cigarettes in the 1200 block of Boylston Avenue when a group of five to six boys and a girl walked up  10:20 p.m. One of the teens pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim before the entire group attacked him, took his cell phone and fled, according to police.

The victim suffered minor cuts and abrasions, but declined medical help. The two women with him were not hurt.

Police spotted a suspicious group in the area and brought in witnesses who identified as some of the attackers.

Police arrested four boys and a girl, and recovered a realistic-looking BB gun.

Two of the teenage boys were booked into the Youth Services Center for investigation of robbery. Police said the other three were released to relatives.
