Woman found in South Park alley identified

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a woman whose body was found in a South Park alley as Celina Anne Petersen, 26.

An autopsy revealed the woman suffered fatal blunt-force trauma to the head. Her death has been classified as a homicide.

Police were called to the alley near 12th Avenue South and South Sullivan Street about 8 a.m. on Feb. 15 after a report of an unconscious woman.

The case is being investigated by the Seattle Police Department. No arrests have been made.
