A man is being questioned by police after he allegedly stabbed another man at a Renton saloon this afternoon.
Renton police spokeswoman Terri Vickers said officers were called to the No Bull Saloon, 1190 N.E. Sunset Blvd., at 3:23 p.m. Officers were there within two minutes, she said.
“As far as we know there was a bar fight and the victim was stabbed in the chest and transported to Harborview (Medical Center),” she said.
Vickers said she didn’t know of a reason for the stabbing. She said the suspect is being questioned by police.
Reached by phone, a woman who answered the phone at the No Bull Saloon laughed when asked if she had a comment about the stabbing. A second employee said, “Renton police are still investigating. We have no comment.”

A 47-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a fight during a pool game at a Lakewood bar Wednesday night, according to police.
The man, whom authorities are not identifying, apparently was playing pool in the “Last Call” bar at about 11:30 p.m. when he bumped into another man playing pool nearby, Lakewood police spokesman Chris Lawler wrote in a news release. Then the other player allegedly punched the victim, who fell and struck his head on the floor.
The victim immediately lost consciousness, Lawler wrote. Police are looking for the man who punched him. He apparently fled the scene, the release says.
They are looking at surveillance video but are also asking citizens for help locating the man, described as a Native American in his 30s, roughly 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds with long black hair worn in two braids.
He was wearing a long sleeved white T-shirt and khaki pants at the time of the assault, police said.

A 24-year-old man is being held on investigation of second-degree murder in connection with a deadly bar fight in Federal Way early Saturday morning.
The fight, which involved seven or eight people, started inside the Café Arizona on South 320th Street, police said. After the group was taken outside by security, two of the men tried to run away, but they were chased by two others who caught up to them and continued the fight, police said.
Federal Way police said one of the men who had attempted to flee, a 34-year-old SeaTac man, was fatally injured when he was stabbed and struck by a car.
Police had a description and the license-plate number of the car used by the suspects and apprehended one of them late Saturday night. Another suspect remains at large, police said.
