Seattle bicyclist seriously injured in collision with SUV

A bicyclist was seriously injured last night in a collision with an SUV, police said. The bicyclist was riding north in east side bike/pedestrian path on Alaskan Way near Columbia Street around 10:30 p.m. when he left the pathway and collided with a southbound 2003 GMC Envoy, police said. Two cyclists hurt on Seattle streets today

In separate incidents only minutes apart, two bicyclists were hurt on Seattle streets this morning.  Both, a man and a woman, were wearing helmets, and neither was  reported to have life-threatening injuries.
