15 Black Friday protesters arrested outside Factoria Wal-Mart

Jail time for killing a dog: What causes someone to hit an aging dog, and so hard it has to be put down? Daniel Joseph Heidt, 25,  pleaded guilty to first-degree animal cruelty earlier this week for punching the dog he was watching for someone else. The Kitsap Sun reports. Thousands of Seattle-area shoppers lined up outside retail stores Thursday night to grab early Black Friday deals.
