A Bothell woman has been charged with first-degree assault after police said she assaulted a 91-year-old man with two lamps and a cane in the home they share. Police shoot suicidal man after car chase ends in Bothell

Bothell police officer hit by car

A Bothell police officer was hit by a car while directing traffic Monday night, and is in fair condition at EvergreenHealth Medical Center, according to police. The officer was directing traffic away from another car accident nearby when a car accidentally hit him, said police spokeswoman Denise Langford.  The driver stopped at the scene.
