Scrappy the dog aids escape from fire blamed on Christmas tree

A fire traced to a Christmas tree destroyed a Monroe home this morning, but both residents asleep in the house escaped, thanks to a dog named Scrappy. Ready to hang Christmas lights? Try the Space Needle at 600 feet

It’s not the holiday season in Seattle until the Space Needle tree lights up.
