Cinder’s paws healed; bear cub will spend winter in Idaho

Cinder, the black bear cub burned in the Carlton complex wildfires, is moving to Idaho for the winter. Bear burned in wildfire on the mend at Lake Tahoe

The 37-pound young bear whose paws were badly burned in the Carlton complex wildfires is doing great, according to caretakers at Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care in California.
