Space Needle Contest: Design icon’s paint job

The Associated Press  The roof of Seattle’s iconic Space Needle was repainted on Tuesday with the message “top this” to promote a new contest in honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1962 World’s Fair. The people who run this Seattle attraction want the public’s help in designing the Space Needle’s next paint job. KOMO-TV reports

Woman wins Monster in the Basement contest

A spooky walk into a basement, where an old refrigerator lurks, won City Light’s Monsters in the Basement video contest. Two winners of the '30 minutes on Viaduct' contest

The winners of the Washington State Department of Transportation’s   “One Last Shot” contest, are the Rat City Rollergirls and the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team, WSDOT announced via Twitter this afternoon.
