Gig Harbor man accused of duct-taping dog’s mouth shut

A Gig Harbor man accused of duct-taping the mouth of his son’s dog to stop the animal’s barking has been charged with felony animal cruelty. The News Tribune reports that 57-year-old Paul G. Kirkland teacher investigated in student duct-taping incident

A teacher at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland has been placed on paid leave while administrators investigate whether she duct-taped a student to a chair Wednesday.
