2 people confirmed dead in plane crash near Buckley

  Two people were killed when a World War II-era small plane crashed in a wooded area in Buckley this afternoon, according to East Pierce Fire and Rescue. Officials responded to reports of a plane down in the 25800 block of 96th Street East around 3:30 p.m, East Pierce spokeswoman Dina Sutherland said.
