Five vehicles strike elk on I-5 near Woodland

The Columbian (MCT) Two elk walked onto Interstate 5 north of Woodland late Tuesday night, causing a crash involving five vehicles. Elk hooks up with soccer net in Maple Valley

MAPLE VALLEY (AP) — A young elk needed an assist after its horns became tangled in a soccer net at Rock Creek Elementary School in Maple Valley, says the Washington Fish and Wildlife Department. Officer Bruce Richards cut the net last Friday and freed the elk. A King County sheriff’s deputy who also responded recorded this video.
