Prank caller launches 3 costly Coast Guard searches

The Coast Guard is searching for a prankster who the Guard says has made a series of fake distress calls since last month. Fallen trees close highways near Mount Baker and Hood Canal

Highways in the Mount Baker area and near Hood Canal have been closed after heavy snow caused scores of trees to fall across the roadway in the past 24 hours.
