Issaquah school remains closed Thursday after letter threat found

UPDATE, Thursday, 5:50 a.m. | Pacific Cascade Middle School in the Issaquah School District will remain closed on Thursday after a a threatening letter was found on Wednesday. From the district’s website: Investigations into the threat letter discovered at PCMS are continuing with law enforcement. As of this morning, no new information has come to light….

Teen pleads not guilty to Skyline High School cyber threat

A 16-year-old Edmonds boy pleaded not guilty this morning to a charge of felony harassment for allegedly posting an online threat to shoot up Skyline High School in Sammamish, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Teen cyber-threat suspect expelled from Edmonds school

UPDATE AT 2:25 P.M.: A judge this afternoon allowed the boy to be released to home detention pending the filing of criminal charges.
