Tacoma police today arrested two suspects in the killing and robbery of a 54-year-old Tacoma man in a condominium parking garage last month.
Community tips and surveillance footage led police to the two Tacoma men, who are suspected of following Lawrence Howse into the garage, robbing and killing him, Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
The suspects were booked on suspicion of first-degree robbery and first-degree murder, Cool said. More arrests are expected in connection with the case, she said.
Police say the killing was random and the suspects had no relationship to Howse.

Tacoma detectives are asking the public to help identify the two men suspected of robbing and killing a 54-year-old Tacoma man in a parking garage this weekend, a police news release says.
Around 9:55 p.m. Saturday, the victim, Lawrence Howse, drove into the gated parking garage of Sky Terrace Condominiums in the 200 block of S. Broadway in a black BMW, the release said. The two suspects followed him in on foot, where they robbed and killed him, the release said.
Detectives believe the Howse was randomly targeted by the two suspects, according to the release.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call 911.
