A 34-year-old Everett man was arrested after a hit-and-run that critically injured his passenger, a 31-year-old man, who was taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to a news release from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The speeding car crashed into several others near the intersection of Lowell-Larimer Road and Marsh Road at around 7:30 p.m., the release said.
The driver ran from the crash and was eventually tracked down and arrested by Snohomish County deputies in the 6500 block of Lowell-Larimer Road, the release said.
The 5600 block of Lowell-Larimer Road has been closed, and deputies have set up a detour onto 56th Avenue. The Lowell-Larimer and Marsh Road intersection is open, but the area remains an investigation scene.
Aside from the passenger in the speeding car, no injuries have been reported.
