UPDATE AT 11:05 A.M.: King County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a pickup involved in a fatal hit and run in Kenmore early this morning.
Injuries sustained by the victim were consistent with being hit by a vehicle, and detectives said debris left at the scene included part of a headlight that likely came from a 2003-2004 Ford F150 pickup, similar to the vehicle pictured at right. The sheriff’s office said it’s unclear whether the pickup is a regular cab or crew cab and don’t know the color of the vehicle.
Anyone with information on the accident or who sees a vehicle matching the description with right-front headlight damage is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 206-296-3311. Callers can also contact Crime Stoppers and remain anonymous and receive a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest: 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
