Judge orders timber thief to pay $84,000

A federal judge ordered a Jefferson County man to repay the U.S. Forest Service $84,000 for stealing as many as 100 trees from Olympic National Forest. A Jefferson County man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Tacoma to one year in prison for stealing trees from Olympic National Forest.
