Three people, including two that had to be cut out of a car, have been taken to Harborview Medical Center hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a two-car crash, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision. Fire officials said two cars were involved in a collision near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Jackson Street just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
One of the cars rolled over and its two occupants – a man and woman in their 30s – had to be cut from the vehicle with rescue equipment, said fire spokesman Kyle Moore. Both were conscious and alert, said Moore, and were transported to Harborview with what appeared to be minor injuries.
The sole occupant of the second vehicle, a 93-year-old man, was also taken to the Harborview. His vital signs were stable, Moore said.
