Man who scammed golf tournaments sentenced

A man who scammed golf-tournament organizers by selling hole-in-one insurance and then failing to make good on the prizes was sentenced in King County Superior Court today to three months in jail. Kevin Kolenda was given credit for time he’s already served behind bars, and has been released from custody. He also paid $15,000 in restitution. Kolenda, 56, pleaded guilty to two counts…
