Motorists may have a difficult time reaching Interstates 5 and 90 out of downtown Seattle this afternoon, warns the Seattle Department of Transportation.
About 1,000 demonstrators are expected at a pro-union event along Sixth Avenue, where the streets will be monitored by police. Spillover traffic likely will affect transit routes, including Fourth Avenue, which is commonly used by express buses headed to Snohomish County. The entire SDOT update is pasted below:
