A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of his older sister at a SeaTac apartment on Monday, a King County Sheriff’s news release said.
The sister was identified by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office as Medina Negato, 24.
The man had called police Monday morning and told them his sister was “dead and they had stabbed her,” the release said. When SeaTac police and King County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Skyview apartment in the 3200 block of South 180th Street, they found him bleeding, and he told them he had also been stabbed, the release said.
The man will remain at Harborview Medical Center until he is released from treatment, at which point he will be booked into the King County Jail.
When police arrived they found the man bloody with multiple injuries and his sister dead inside the apartment, the release said. Both appeared to have been stabbed numerous times.
The news release did not say what evidence led them to arrest the brother, but it said investigators do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
