Passenger trains running again north of Seattle

The Associated Press Passenger train service is up and running again north of Seattle, following two mudslides that hit the tracks last week. Sounder North service canceled through at least Wednesday a.m.

Sounder North train service, which runs between Everett and Seattle, is canceled through Wednesday morning because of what Sound Transit describes as “slope instability.” Service for Wednesday afternoon and beyond will be decided Wednesday morning as more definitive information becomes available.
