Accident near Southcenter creates 9-mile backup on I-5

A collision on Interstate 5 northbound just south of I-405 at Southcenter (MP 153) has I-5 backed up for 9 miles. Multiple vehicle crash at Southcenter slows commute

A multiple vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Southcenter this morning has slowed traffic traveling toward Seattle. Some northbound I-5 lanes near Southcenter closed for repairs

Three northbound lanes of Interstate 5 have been closed between South 188th Street near the Interstate 405 interchange around Southcenter so that crews can make emergency roadway repairs, according to the State Department of Transportation.
