Washington officers to crack down on distracted driving

Law-enforcement officers throughout the state will be cracking down on distracted drivers starting later this week as part of a new national distracted-driving enforcement campaign. The Associated Press VANCOUVER, Wash. — Police believe a hit-and-run driver was texting when she ran down a 65-year-old man using a walker in a Vancouver crosswalk.
