Sacramento coach Jenny Boucek is returning to Seattle today, healthy after a scare to open training camp. Boucek, a former Storm assistant, was hospitalized two nights due to an inflamed lower intestine.
All test results were negative, so it looks like she’ll be able to complete her first season as a head coach. And the pressure is on. The Monarchs have been to the WNBA Finals the past two seasons, winning their first championship in 2005.
Boucek already has a ring, working the sideline with Seattle in 2004l. But can she coach Sacramento’s white-line defense?
