Jackson out?

Storm forward Lauren Jackson will not join the Storm until May 19 in order to take time to rest, according to The Advertiser in Australia. The All-Star, playing today for the Russian team Spartak in its league championship series, earlier played in South Korea where she finished as the leading scorer.
Storm coach Anne Donovan told Connecticut reporters that Jackson and teammates Sue Bird and Francesca Zara, who are also playing with Jackson in Russia, would be in Seattle on Friday. The May 19 arrival date is also the Storm’s home opener against Houston at KeyArena.
The Australian report coincides with Jackson rejecting numerous lucrative offers to play in her country’s WNBL next season.
