All-Stars Lauren Jackson and Diana Taurasi are close friends, but their competitive nature bubbled over in the second quarter of tonight’s game. With the Storm leading 53-30 and the Mercury controlling the ball, Jackson checked Taurasi, causing the Mercury forward to fall flat on her rear with 1:52 remaining. This being the WNBA, there was no call on the obvious play.
