Heard the Title IX discussion before the Storm’s loss to Sacramento was a success. There was a reported packed house, but if you missed it, you can check it all out online here.
Storm coach Anne Donovan spoke before the game about being a “Title IX baby.” Her favorite way to describe the law’s impact is that when older sister Mary graduated high school two years before Donovan did in 1979, Mary, an equally talented center, was offered two scholarships while Donovan had about 250 lined up.
