Prelude to the playoffs

The WNBA announced the Eastern Conference playoff schedule. No surprise since the teams are situated despite the regular season not ending until Sunday.
The Storm, although dead-locked at fourth in the West, could have to wait well past its finale on Friday to learn their playoff schedule.
Phoenix and Sacramento will battle each other in prelude to the postseason in a home-and-home conclusion to the regular season on Friday and Sunday. Add San Antonio’s apparent soft finish against struggling Indiana and youthful Minnesota and scenarios could make playoff seeding decided by tiebreakers.
Anyway, the Indiana-Connecticut series is next Thursday and Saturday. Defending champion Detroit faces either Washington or New York (Liberty are currently winning on NBATV, FYI) on Friday and Sunday on ABC.
