You don’t get a cool little sticker when you vote in the WNBA, but here’s what I sent to the league office as my final ballot. Not too far off from my midseason picks, still irked at my MVP vote, though. Everything says Becky Hammon, but the hand wrote Lauren Jackson. You do realize this means the Aussie could run off with all the awards and championship and not even return next summer. Oh well, at least she had a fabulous final run and I was a witness. Here’s the list:
All-WNBA 1st Team
F Deanna Nolan, Detroit Shock
F Tamika Catchings, Indiana Fever
C Lauren Jackson, Seattle Storm
G Diana Taurasi, Phoenix Mercury
G Becky Hammon, San Antonio Silver Stars
All WNBA 2nd Team
F Sophia Young, San Antonio Silver Stars
F Penny Taylor, Phoenix Mercury
C Tammy Sutton-Brown, Indiana Fever (can’t wait until all the young centers in the league start challenging for this position)

G Seimone Augustus, Minnesota Lynx
