Mailbag: No exhibition TV

Denise of Belltown wrote in about how excited she was about the possibility of the Storm’s exhibition game against Sacramento being aired on ESPN2 on Friday. But that’s not the case.
It was incorrectly listed as such in the Storm’s preseason guide and I removed the item from the blog, yet apparently not quick enough. ESPN2 will actually be airing Game 6 of the Washington-Cleveland first-round playoff series on Friday. But Sacramento will have a radio broadcast and it can be heard via wnba.com.
ESPN2 will broadcast the May 20 Storm game at KeyArena at 7:30 p.m.
As for Storm broadcasts, the team is planning to carry a radio broadcast of the May 10 exhibition finale against Indiana at KeyArena. There’s some question whether color analyst Adia Barnes will return in time. She’s playing in Italy and the series finale could run until May 9. Forgive her if she’s a little loopy while sharing tales about the players and league.
