Wright headed to Seattle; Cash in Sacramento

Storm G Tanisha Wright’s Israeli team lost its best-of-five championship series today. Here are the stats. Wright was selected MVP of the league and has improved her on-court leadership skills. She had 16 points and six boards in Game 4, but no assists.
Wright should report to Storm camp by next week. The team plays at Sacramento on Friday and needs to have a better showing than it did in the loss to Chicago. Coach Brian Agler ran different combinations in the second half and didn’t care about winning, but the Storm could have executed better.
Wright, selected 12th overall in the 2005 draft, is natural shooting guard and candidate to backup PG Sue Bird.
Meanwhile F Swin Cash is in Sacramento with the team, which is currently practicing. She had her bruised knee evaluated by her own doctors in Miami after playing with the National Team in China, but the injury was nothing major, according to Agler.
