Team USA rolls on

I really want to blog about the actual games Team USA is playing, but any time you have shots of PG Sue Bird seated cross-legged on the bench cracking jokes and playing with her ponytail, as she was shown in the win against Mali, you know the game is boring. I am impressed with the reserves, however, especially first-time Olympians Sylvia Fowles and Candace Parker. But I’m hoping the medal rounds produce more competition for Team USA.
Regardless, they continue to dominate, defeating Spain 93-55 today. They did make it interesting with just a five-point lead at the break, but as expected, Spain crumbled in the second half. Read more here.
