TV Alert

The Storm wraps up its three-game trip in Chicago tonight and the game with air at 5 p.m. on FSN. If Seattle can win, it will clinch its fifth consecutive playoff berth. But the game won’t be a gimme like the matchup in Atlanta.
If you were wondering what all the giggling on the bench was about during Team USA’s gold-medal Olympic run, it was regarding Chicago center Sylvia Folwes. With leads already in double digits, coach Anne Donovan would send Folwes into the game. The rookie is 6 feet 6 and can dunk, leading Team USA in scoring.
“We were just joking like, ‘This just isn’t fair,’ ” said Bird of the repetitive fourth-quarter chatter among the Olympians. “It just wasn’t fair. She’s just physically dominant.”
The Sky (11-17) has won its past three games since the Olympic break and is 1 1/2-games behind Indiana for the fourth and final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. Fowles and guard Jia Perkins, the East’s current Player of the Week, have led the way.
Storm forward Swin Cash did not participate in shootaround today due to pain in her lower back while forward Sheryl Swoopes was on the court. Swoopes missed the Atlanta game due to plantar faciitis in her left foot. The final starting lineup is a game-time decision.
